la-la-la-la-lalaaaaaa! We got it, we got it.
Oh, you want to know WHAT we got....
The Boys Birth Certificate! We were told by the Atty. not to expect anything for 9-12 months.
It's only been about 2 months. Finally, a government agency that did their job in a timely manner. I'm sure it was a mistake!
Very strange birth cert. from this particular state, (he was not born in the state we live in)
They put my maiden name on there. Looks like we weren't married! No married name for me.
Do they do that in the state where you live? Just curious.
(The picture above was taken at my MIL house, just a boy and his daddy looking for bunnies)

I hope that we will get our birth certs that quickly.
As far as our state goes, we do have the same laws...CASA can't be foster parents BUT since our children are from a northern IN county we are able to do our own county. Also the "conflict of interest" would be that I know the foster parent and would form my opinion around that. So there are ways we are able to as long as the "conflict of interest" is not crossed. The licensed daycare rule doesn't apply to our state. I know several licensed daycare providers who are also foster parents. It actually is nice that was so that we can be all three and A LOT of our inservice classes overlap for our trainings for the year to acquire/maintain our licenses.
Now that you mention it, my maiden name might very well be on Jack's birth certificate.
Congratulations on the BC!! That's big news, right there!
Hooray! So happy for you all. Love the new look, by the way (I've been sorta out of the blogsphere for a while). Very snappy.
