Has it really been 1 year since our adoption was finalized? It seems a little "off" since he's been with us for almost 3 years...the wheels of dfacs* turns very slowly.
But we celebrate the fact that they haven't been able to tell us what to do...in regard to David for one whole year! Waahoo!

Too cute. Our attorney has all the paperwork and is filling it out to send it off to court,so we are just waiting,should not be long! We want one or 2 more kids,and would love to foster to adopt or straight adopt.But it takes so long.Let me know if you hear of any possible matches for us.Hanging in their,Jill

Gosh he is adorable! Congrats on the adoption anniversary. Do y'all celebrate Adoption Days or just note it and move on?
It's kind of a "note to self" day. their is no celebration. Since he has no comprehension of adoption.
It's his birthday we celebrate, because it is that day he started his journey to us, just like any of our children.
It really is more our days than the kids', isn't it? LOL I TOTALLY feel you on celebrating that the agencies can't tell you how to run his life anymore! Whoo hoo!
