-LIFE OF PI by yann martel ~~a little deep, a little wierd, ALOT of big words to drag out the dictionary for. but well worth your effort
-FALLING LEAVES by Adeline Yen Mah~~ will give you insight to another world, another time & people & make you a little happier about your childhood
-Ursula, Under by....ummm I can't remember her name, but you will not be disappointed in this book, it is GREAT
-WIFE AND SISTERS by NATALIE COLLINS ~~ gREAT BOOK
AND ANYTHING BY MY HERO LEWIS GRIZZARD, GOD BLESS HIS HEART.

UNEMPLOYMENT--IS IT WORTH IT?

GOOD GRIEF!
has anyone had to go to the unemployment office recently?
I hope no one out there has to actually feed/support a family on this. I know they aren't supposed to make it easy for you to lay around drawing a ck. But good grief! A friend who went with me, had worked for 35 yrs same place, full time, ect ect. only got 21 weeks! and barely enough for gass money. I don't understand our governmnet sometimes.
I thought I'd like staying at home for a while. But after only 4 days I don't what to do with myself. When I worked the laundry got done everynight, dishes, ect. But now? Where does the day go? Maybe I'm not cut out to be a house wife, or maybe it'll get better.
any recommendations?

MAY 2, 2006

I just love the title of this blog. It sums up the basic things I need in life.
hmmm, there are a few more, but there's no room in the title thingie.
I need:
*a relationship with God
*my husband
*my kids to be good and do what I tell them to do. Mommy stills knows best, even when your 24,20&17.
*my blakieblakie boy
*I need to live in the mountains & just not any old mountain either. I still need to convince my husband I'm going to die if I don't.
*to drop 20 pounds
*need to go back to school, but I'm too lazy
I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER GOOD JOB, LIKE THE ONE I JUST LOST, due to NO fault of my own. The **I worked for decided to retire :(
Off we go to the unemployment office. I bet this is going to be so much fun!
I'll tell you all about it later..........
